Louise has recently joined Metzger as an Executive Headhunter. She is an experienced recruiter having worked across varying industries and disciplines over the last 20 years. Louise enjoys the process of searching for the best candidate and would consider her key strengths to be her communication and people skills.

What is the best part of your role?

Finding the perfect candidate for the perfect role and transforming working lives. She loves building rapport with all candidates and delving into their background to understand whether they would be good fit.

What values do you look for in a candidate?

Honesty and transparency mixed in with a positive attitude and professionalism.

What would be your best career advice?

Never stop learning, challenge yourself, work and play hard are my top tips for a successful career.

Can you name one person who has really inspired you and why?

Without a doubt my mother. She is the most inspirational person I know. At the age of eighty-three, she visits other elderly people in care homes, organises tea parties for the lonely, runs the church playgroup, walks five miles a day collecting litter to make her town a better place and generally has a heart of gold.

What do you do when you’re not working?

I love to entertain and cook for friends and family. Staying fit and healthy is also a priority and I use my Peloton bike daily. My husband and I have a passion for travel, and we are slowly working through our bucket list of European cities to visit!
