Melissa Jacobs

Melissa joined Metzger Search & Selection in January 2026 as an Executive Headhunter, which she manages alongside her own role as a self-employed Headhunter within the Testing, Inspection & Certification market.

What is the best part of your role?

I really enjoy the variety of projects I work on; I love getting stuck into a completely new marketplace or function and understanding its inner workings.

Can you name one person who has really inspired you and why?

Not work-related but probably my dad. There aren’t many men in their 70s who take up Pilates and sewing, but he’s always kept curious and that’s pretty inspiring to me.

What do you do when you're not working?

When I’m not working, you’ll find me attending gigs, reading, discovering new public footpaths with my dog, or working my way through an endless list of disparate pastimes that I never seem to fully master (currently crochet and playing the drums).
