Senior Business Development Manager - National Accounts
Salary: Up to £55,000 basic salary plus car and excellent commission structure
Location: Remote with travel to head office fortnightly

We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to work with a progressive, ambitious, leading commercial cleaning business who are on an accelerated growth curve. With an excellent track record and strong customer service credentials, you'd be joining the business at an exciting time of growth and contribute to the overall continued success of the business.

This is a varied role where you will split your time between sourcing new sales opportunities, writing compelling bids, and visiting clients. We're particularly interested in speaking with candidates who are looking to transfer their existing skills from some of the following B2B sectors: facilities services, catering, energy, telecoms, waste management, document management, security.

Responsibilities include:

*Sourcing new, large scale, tender opportunities
*Building effective relationships with prospective clients
*Making effective calls and presentations to introduce the business's capabilities and value proposition
*Creating and maintaining a National Accounts Portfolio - constantly reviewing the pipeline to add or remove opportunities depending on their suitability and profitability
*Delivering the end-to-end process of acquiring new contracts including sourcing the tender, writing bids, presenting the bid and attending site visits

Candidate requirements:

*A proven business development professional with experience of large-scale, service focussed sales
*Experience of influencing and negotiating at C-Suite level
*Outstanding written skills with experience of creating compelling and work-winning tender documents
*Able to communicate effectively and present confidently at all levels
*Commercially astute with strong negotiation skills
*A background and proven track record in B2B sales
*Highly motivated and well organised
*Well-developed commercial and numerical skills
