Our client is a highly-regarded and entrepreneurial Facilities Management group that has grown significantly in recent years. To assist them in furthering their success, they are seeking to appoint a Senior Business Development Manager. They are looking for an ambitious new business hunter with a strategic mind-set, and expertise in selling security solutions (Manned-Guarding, CCTV and Access Control) to help grow their Security business to the next level.
Part of the Group's continued growth plan is to strengthen its stand-alone security sales capability. You will work closely with the Managing Director, and together, drive a step change in growth for the security business. There is also a significant opportunity for career and personal development too.
The security business has been successful in its own right and has a great reputation with a number of high profile customers, however they need to be more proactive in the market place. This is your opportunity to play a significant part in their journey with the support and investment from the wider FM Group.
You will need to be able to demonstrate the following:
*A true passion for winning new business, where you can demonstrate a track record of significant results within London and the M25.
*A track record in winning new named contracts through effective negotiations, relationship management skills and the development of innovative service solutions.
*Commercial judgement and high work ethic demonstrating strong intellectual capability and high levels of integrity and energy.
*A responsibility for delivering all aspects of the strategic sales process - experience in contractual / solutions based sales is important as is your motivation and professional outlook.
*A new business track record within security or the wider FM industry - Manned-Guarding, CCTV and Access Control.
