Sales Director - Soft Support Services
Salary: Basic £75K OTE £100K + car + company benefits
Our client is looking to recruit a credible Sales Director who will be pivotal in establishing the company name into new clients. This role offers the chance to join a fast growing and dynamic organisation that's committed to achieving turnover and margin targets agreed with the Board. You will also manage a growing team of Business Development Executives and have a dedicated Sales Support.
The search for a talented individual is not limited to contract cleaning - broadening into Facilities Management & the wider Support/Business Services markets. However, it would be beneficial to have cleaning and FM experience, with services expertise to enable the individual to contribute and make a difference.
Overall Job purpose:
*As Sales Director, you will need to be extremely well-networked across sectors; for example: City corporate clients, managing agents, and or the wider commercial market.
*Implementing sales plans and solutions, supporting turnover targets.
*Drive performance improvement through the effective management, training and directional leadership of the sales team.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
*Define market /new business opportunities in line with the company Sales Process Procedure.
*Work closely with the Board in the mutual development and optimisation of business growth opportunities.
*Produce and agree measurable strategic objectives to deliver the growth and profitability plans.
*Ensure that both potential and new business are operationally viable and profitable.
*Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals.
*Drive professional representation in the market in a manner which is reflective of the company's values.
*Support bids and content for tender responses which are bespoke to the client requirements.
*Train, coach and guide your team members to effectively deliver results.
*Provide timely and accurate performance data of KPI's and business sales performance.
*Establish effective working relationships with a wide range of staff internally and potential clients to achieve optimum sales opportunities.
*Travel periodically required for mandatory company meetings/presentations.
*A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role
*Industry knowledge and experience ideally within Soft Services/B2B
*High-calibre strategic thinker, with measured problem-solving and decision-making skills
*Strong written English and highly analytical
*Strong influencing and negotiation skills
*Ability to build sustainable relationships with clients (internal and external)
*Demonstrate experience in managing sales team(s)
*Have the ability to work under pressure, prioritising to meet deadlines, managing busy workload and multi-tasking
*Capable of leading a business into new services and markets - self-starter
*Presentable and conscientious
