Sales Director - Cleaning and Support Services
Salary: Basic £70,000 per annum, OTE £100,000 per annum + car, equity & company benefits
Location: London, South East & Home Counties with National Travel
Our client is looking to recruit an experienced Sales Director who will be pivotal in establishing the company name into new clients. This role offers the chance to join a fast growing and dynamic organisation that has a strong reputation for delivering excellent customer service.
The search for a talented individual is not limited to contract cleaning - broadening into Facilities Management, Hospitality, Leisure & the wider Support/Business Services markets.
Overall Job purpose:
As Sales Director, you will need to be extremely well-networked across sectors; for example: retail, education, leisure, managing agents, corporate and the wider commercial market. You will be tasked with delivering revenue and profitability targets to be agreed with the Board.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
*Define market /new business opportunities, and develop and convert a robust pipeline of profitable business
*Work closely with the Board in the mutual development and optimisation of business growth opportunities.
*Produce and agree measurable strategic objectives to deliver the growth and profitability plans.
*Ensure that both potential and new business are operationally viable and profitable.
*Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals.
*Drive professional representation in the market in a manner which is reflective of the company's values.
*Manage bid process and produce content for tender responses which are bespoke to the client requirements.
*Provide timely and accurate performance data of KPI's and business sales performance.
*Establish effective working relationships with a wide range of staff internally and potential clients to achieve optimum sales opportunities.
*A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role
*Industry knowledge and experience ideally within Soft Services/B2B
*High-calibre strategic thinker, with measured problem-solving and decision-making skills
*Strong written English and well-developed commercial skills
*Strong influencing and negotiation skills
*Ability to build sustainable relationships with clients (internal and external)
*Flexibility to travel nationally as required
*Have the ability to work under pressure, prioritising to meet deadlines, managing busy workload and multi-tasking
*Capable of leading a business into new services and markets - self-starter
*Presentable and conscientious
*Able to evidence a track record of delivering sales growth
