Our client is an acquisitive, PE backed organisation with plans to scale up its Business Services organisation globally. This progressive business is led by an ambitious, highly motivated, commercial senior leadership team which includes its Human Resources Director, who is looking to complement the team with a Pay & Reward Specialist.
This new role within the HR function has arisen as the client brings its Payroll activity in-house. The role will play a key part in enhancing team members' experience, HR service delivery and operational efficiencies. The successful candidate will need to be a Subject Matter Expert in their field, progressive in their approach, take responsibility for the function, have worked in a stand-alone role with an operational workforce and have extensive analytical skills.
Key responsibilities include:
*Manage and oversee the end to end payroll process for all team members, in compliance with statutory legislation and terms and conditions of employment
*Lead on all payroll and benefits related projects
*Complete regular payroll reports for the executive team
*Supporting Finance with Month and Year End processes
*Manage all HMRC communication and updates
*Complete all monthly Full Payment Submissions and Year End processes/submissions, ensuring payroll compliance with HMRC & The Pension Regulator
*Manage and administer all team member benefits including pension scheme, childcare vouchers, life assurance, PMI etc.
*Calculate maternity, paternity and other specific pay changes in line with HR policy
Skills, knowledge and experience:
*Preferably CIPP qualified or equivalent
*Subject matter expert in payroll and experienced in managing a wide range of team member benefits
*Excellent communication skills and able to liaise effectively with various stakeholders
*Customer-oriented mindset and focused on ensuring excellent service
*Experience in project management
*A high level of accuracy with good attention to detail
