Job Description

Operations Director - Cleaning.
Salary: £65,000 + Company Car & benefits
Location: Wembley, London

Our client provides high quality Commercial Cleaning Services to a range of businesses across London & the South. As Operations Director you will provide leadership and management to ensure the business continues to grow and deliver outstanding service to its customers. Responsibilities include overall operational management in order to increase growth and profitability whilst minimising associated risk.
You will be required to work with the senior management team in the Wembley at least 4 days a week.
Key Responsibilities
*Ultimate responsibility for the operational team's management direction and performance to meet KPIs and objectives.
*To continually monitor the operational efficiency to achieve stated financial objectives, and maintain customer retention, ensuring the business continues to grow profitably and delivers against its business plan.
*Achieve the maximisation of profits and return on investment over the long term by the prudent and efficient use of resources.
*To work with senior leadership team on ISO controls and compliance.
*Provide direct management to the Operations Managers and team to ensure the highest standard of performance at all times.
*Monitor long-term performance of Operational managers and team.
*Develop and maintain relationships with the clients and all stakeholders to ensure the highest level of client satisfaction.
*Implement and continuously review Company's policies and procedures to ensure smooth operations of managed entity.
*Maintain Company's reputation and competitive edge.
*Promotes Company's vision, values and positive atmosphere, in order to create and maintain an environment where all management and employees develop and excel.

Key Requirements:
*Proven success in an operational leadership role - minimum of 5 years' experience within a similar position in the cleaning industry.
*A broad understanding of facilities management and building maintenance industry
*An innovative thinker with the ability to operate at a strategic level, devising and executing plans with appreciation of the wider goals of the business and its clients.
*A robust and confident character, with the ability to manage this key function autonomously and the aptitude to understand and prioritise the needs and goals of customers, making timely decisions whilst remaining mindful of the company's wider visions.
*The ability to create a supportive and collaborative environment which drives continuous improvement and high levels of customer satisfaction.
*Demonstrate experience of multiple client management
*Proven track record in preparing costings for quotations, budgeting and analysis
*High level of credibility, team leadership skills and the capability to deliver a positive, motivational culture whilst fully embracing the company values.
*Exceptional knowledge of cleaning processes and equipment
*Highly IT literate
*Fully conversant with Health and Safety and COSHH Regulations, a formal H&S qualification is desirable
*A highly-polished individual with excellent communication skills at all levels both verbal and written
*BICS membership.
*Valid UK driving licence
*Reside within an hour clients offices in Wembley
