Associate Director - New Business Sales
Location: London
Salary: circa £80,000 plus bonus

We are currently working with our client to recruit an experienced New Business Sales professional. Our client, is a successful, expanding, environmental consultancy who work with businesses to help them understand and move towards reducing their carbon footprint.

This role is new business focused, and we are looking to identify dynamic 'hunters' who can inspire and have a passion for the delivery of outstanding results.

To be considered for this role, you will have responsibility for:

*Identifying opportunities, developing proposals, and winning sales from a selection of large blue-chip clients and prospects within an industry sector
*Securing follow on opportunities and moving into other areas of the client's business
*Providing clarity on client's requirements, inspiring colleagues to deliver profitable programmes that add measurable value to clients
*Being the voice of the customer within the company
*Developing existing and new methodologies regularly advancing the offering
*Developing articles and client stories for shared learning and sales opportunities

The successful candidate will:

*Have considerable experience in B2B solutions or consultative sales
*Be able to build strong personal and business relationships to become a credible, trusted advisor to clients
*Be experienced in closing deals with senior stakeholders in one of the following sectors - manufacturing, retail, finance, private equity, or professional services
*Be an active listener and demonstrate a consultative sales approach
*Have the presence and gravitas to operate at senior levels
*Be able to demonstrate a track record of winning and growing business
*Ideally have experience in ESG, sustainability and/or consulting, however this is advantageous not essential
