Managing Director - Business Services
Location: South East based, National Role
Circa £140,000 basic, bonus and corporate benefits

Our client is part of a well-established global brand, recognised for high quality services in the UK market. They have operated for many years as a main supplier of technical services and product installation and are now moving towards the IOT and Smart Buildings sectors with new innovation, solutions and service. The UK business has revenues of over £400m. Under new UK leadership, the structure and shape of the UK business operating model is changing and within this an opportunity has arisen to hire a new business unit Director for a circa £50m division.

This business division is involved in providing lifecycle technical services to hundreds of customers across all industry segments to include National & Critical infrastructure, Healthcare and Education, Real Estate portfolios and Manufacturing & Distribution.

We are looking for a Managing Director/General Manager with particularly strong customer engagement, commercial and operational exposure who can make and take critical business decisions to improve on both current installation and service effectiveness and build a business that can take advantage of the fragmented market in which it operates. You must be used to leading a transactional service business with a extensive range of customers.

The opportunity lies in creating maximum efficiency through transforming a traditional business into one of preparedness for growth in new and current markets.

You will be a hands-on leader who really relishes operational transformation, leading from the front and empowering others to make decisions regarding sales strategy, commercial engagement, operations and service delivery as well as human resources and financial management.

To be considered you will come from a business to business service background, have a number of years running a UK centric industrial services type business and be an obvious leader.
