Key Account Manager - Consumer
£50,000 - £55,000 base salary plus bonus
UK based with considerable travel across the UK and Ireland

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a huge expansion of a leading international tissue paper manufacturer.

Working in a hybrid role, we are looking for an experienced and results-orientated Key Account Manager who can simultaneously win new business and manage existing accounts.

Key responsibilities include:
*Managing existing customer relationships across the UK
*Winning new customers by actively prospecting potential consumer brands within the assigned retail consumer markets
*Presenting our clients products through networking
*Communicating internally about agreements and plans
*Appointment making through own lead generation activity, referrals or marketing activity
*Attend regular meetings across the UK and creating joint customer activity plans
*Implementing the sales and marketing strategy to develop new business, expand customer base, and support distributor growth

Essential requirements:
*Educated to degree level in a business related subject, or equivalent business experience in a related field
*Knowledge of working within distribution channels (retail, multiples, online, discounters) and consumers in the tissue paper market
*Experience selling in a distributor environment, with a strong network of distributor contacts
*Experience identifying new business opportunities and developing these into profitable business partnerships
*Excellent communication skills both written and verbally
*Able to develop relationships at many levels to maximise existing business
*Flexibility in dealing with different customer sectors
*A creative approach to searching for solutions to customers problems
*Excellent negotiation skills
*A result-oriented sales professional
*Able to work independently with a can-do mentality
*A clean driving license is essential, and you should expect a considerable amount of travel across the UK and Ireland
*Ability to travel internationally at least twice a year
