HR Manager - Part Time (30 hours per week)
Location: West London, flexibility to travel
Salary: PART TIME Pro Rata salary £35,000 - £40,000 plus benefits
Our client is a well-established, progressive global business in the Life Sciences sector and are looking for a Part Time HR Manager to join their team. Reporting to the Vice President for European Operations supported by their external HR Consultant, this is a stand-alone position where you will take responsibility for the HR function, recruitment and people management processes, to ensure they meet the requirements of the business and are up to date and legally compliant.
The successful candidate will be CIPD qualified (or an equally similar qualification such as HRM, LLM) with experience of working in a capacity as an HR Generalist. You will be self-motivated and confident enough to manage the HR issues in the function, but know where to source solutions if a situation needs escalating. Although you will not be responsible for writing the HR strategy, you will ensure consistency in approach, policies and processes across the UK.
You will work closely with the Vice President for European Operations and liaise with the US HR team on group initiatives, working closely with the European teams in respect of consistency and implementation. The role will require you to have had experience of a range of HR and employment issues such as employee relations, recruitment, engagement, performance, absence management, rewards and benefits, retention and development.
