Group Financial Controller
Location: Central London
Salary: circa £70,000 plus bonus and benefits
Sector: Security, Facilities Management
Creating a best in class Group finance function is an exciting prospect. Making a difference to a highly successful and acquisitive international Support Services Group sounds like a challenge too good to miss.
You like to lead and make things happen - through your hard work, diligence and foresight you are 'red hot' on the numbers; being systems and process savvy means you can constructively challenge to confidently produce accurate, timely and meaningful management information and Group consolidated accounts.
Proactive by nature you are also pragmatic, comfortable operating in both corporate and SME environments. Your success is founded in your ability to work closely with key stakeholders to understand their challenges whilst offering support and guidance in the capacity of a Business Finance Partner. A consummate professional, commercially minded and an absolute stickler with the numbers you love nothing better than to interrogate existing systems so they work more effectively for the benefit of all. You are the sort of person who always finds a way to solve the problem, seeing options not dead ends - helping to create a professional, proactive and enjoyable working environment.
You will be qualified (ideally ACA) and your financial expertise includes group consolidated reporting with overseas entities, working in different currencies, cash management and compliance with bank covenants.
The Group continues to expand rapidly both in the UK and internationally providing a breadth of facility and building related services across both the private and public sector - there are several acquisitions in the pipe line at varying stages to completion.
The Group Financial Controller will ideally have a background in Property and Building Services, Facilities Management, Emergency Repairs or Installation businesses but it is not a necessity.
Working closely with the Group CFO, you will:
-Build a best in class group finance function
-Improve and deliver timely, accurate group management information and consolidated accounts
-Be seen by the wider business as an effective group function that is professional, supportive and helpful.
