Field Sales Business Development Manager
up to £55,000 base depending on experience plus commission structure + benefits

Our client is a growing and ambitious electronics manufacturer that strives for excellence throughout the business from proposal to delivery.
As the business prepares for the next exciting stage of growth, they are seeking a highly self-motivated Field Sales Business Development Manager to contribute to the overall success of the organisation. The successful candidate will be excited by the opportunity to originate and convert a pipeline of opportunities and will use their expertise to drive the business forward.
Responsibilities include:
- Reporting to the Business Manager you will be responsible for maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers and expanding the customer base
- Proactively making outbound sales calls to potential customers
- Attending customer meetings, presenting manufacturing capabilities to potential customers and assisting with trade shows and exhibitions
- Developing sales strategies and setting targets
- Compiling and analysing sales figures
- Producing monthly sales reports
- Maintaining the customer database together with the internal sales team
- Collecting customer feedback, competitor analysis and market research
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Have a track record of delivering results in a similar field sales position selling products to a wide customer base across the UK
- Be able to demonstrate excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and persuade stakeholders at all levels
- Be a self-starter who has the desire, energy, and flair to develop relationships and create work-winning strategies
- Have the ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Be able to travel with occasional overnight visits away from home
- Hold a full clean driving licence
