Executive Search Consultant
Location: Home based with flexibility to travel nationally
Salary: Attractive remuneration package

Established almost 30 years ago, Metzger is a privately owned, “boutique” Executive Search business. Metzger provides creative and practical talent acquisition solutions for B2B organisations in sectors that include Facilities Management, Renewables, Technology, E-commerce, Logistics, Environmental and Waste Management.

With an entrepreneurial style and a flat management structure that ensures excellent communication and top-level support from every member of the team, we aspire to be the partner, supplier or employer of choice. We predominantly work with clients on a retained basis, on assignments ranging from middle management through to Board level appointments, across all job functions.

As the business is evolving and developing, we are looking to attract new talent to our team.

Has your career enabled you to create a strong client network? Do you have a consultative approach? Have you originated client accounts and know what excellent customer service looks like? Do you have experience of working in a Business Development or “work-winning” role? Do you have experience of and are confident with engaging at all levels including C-suite?

With this in mind, we are looking for a “self-starter” who will have the flexibility and autonomy to manage their own diary and create their own new business opportunities. A high degree of professionalism, discretion, attention to detail and personal organisation is essential. Working from home, but with the support of the wider business, you will be supported by a team of experienced Head-hunters, who are responsible for identifying and engaging the best talent in the market. This will enable you to focus on developing client relationships and securing new search mandates.

We are looking for an individual who already has relationships in the B2B market, who can leverage the Metzger brand, reputation and heritage to further develop our business and share in the success of the company.

We are open to considering candidates from outside Executive Search who have the transferrable skills, knowledge, desire, and experience required to be successful. We are also interested in engaging with candidates with well-developed networks in different sectors to those that we currently operate in.
