Digital Director (CDO) - PLC Board appointment
Circa £220k basic, benefits and incentives
Location: UK, nationwide

Our client is a well-known B2B brand that is seeing unprecedented growth opportunities developing in new sectors. It has a strong and experienced executive leadership team that has a distinct objective and purpose - to accelerate the revenues in B2C and Retail markets, adapting its 'go to' market strategy through building strong, high profile technology based capabilities that positively affect its profile, customer engagement and supply chain - ostensibly creating a full B2B2C & Retail digital platform. In essence, the shareholders and executive leadership team are looking to transform the business, taking it from a strong performer in its current market to one that out-performs competitors, generates considerable digital revenue growth and increases the return for all shareholders.

To do this, the PLC Board require the Leadership influence and proven track record of an executive level Digital Director (CDO). Coming from a B2C background you will have the experience of transforming an organisation's thinking and capabilities. In practice this will mean creating a Digital plan and operation to support the strategy; creating a world class Digital function where customer interactions are seamless, intuitive and operationally enhancing. This Digital transformation of a business will now be second nature and you will have the proven track record of creating a B2B, B2C and Retail success story.

In return, this appointment allows you the opportunity to take full advantage of the current success of this c£400m PLC, adopting to new Digital opportunities. As part of the Board, you will be encouraged to be creative, influence all functions and support the brand, customers, employees and the supply chain to create the most significant Digital business in its markets. The business is growing significantly through organic growth, is acquisitive and well-funded, leading to a range of transformation opportunities.
