Contracts Manager 
Salary: Competitive salary depending on experience

Location: West London with site visits across London

 
Our client is a leading scaffolding provider in the UK. As the business is growing and has exciting plans to continue developing and expanding over the next few years, they are recruiting a Contracts Manager who can take the business forward. 

The Contracts Manager will be a key point of contact for all contract-related matters, playing a crucial role in project management and business operations.

The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:

• Assisting clients’ senior management teams in the overall planning and supervision of projects
• Ensuring contracts are compliant with legal standards, industry regulations, and company policies
• Monitoring contract performance and compliance, addressing any issues that arise
• Collaborating with project managers to ensure contract terms are met throughout the project lifecycle
• Overseeing the timely delivery of contractual obligations, including payments, services, and deliverables
• Identifying and mitigating risks associated with contracts, including potential liabilities and penalties
• Advising the management team on potential risks and recommend appropriate action plans
• Working with the finance team to monitor contract budgets and ensure projects stay within financial limits
• Ensuring that the company’s contracts adhere to all relevant laws and regulations

To be considered for this role you will need the following skills, experience, and attributes:
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in contract management in the construction or scaffolding industry
• Advance Scaffolders Gold Card
• Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) qualification is desirable 
• Experience running multiple scaffolding projects simultaneously
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire scaffolding operatives
• Understanding of contract law, industry standards, and construction project management
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple contracts and projects simultaneously
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Working Conditions:
• Office-based with occasional site visits
• Travel around London may be required depending on project locations
