Communications and Telephony Sales Manager
Location: North East
Salary: C£50K base plus benefits

Our client is a leading provider of IT solutions who support businesses to successfully achieve digital transformation. They are looking for a Communications and Telephony Sales Manager with a focus on existing clients to join their successful sales team.

In this role you will develop strong relationships with longstanding existing customers to increase sales of multi-year service contracts. You will be selling from a portfolio of core solution areas which include public/private cloud, security, managed services, connectivity and data analytics, which should be blended with your specific focus on solutions for communications and telephony.

Key responsibilities include:

*Meeting and exceeding targets to expand profitable revenues for existing client base
*Engaging and networking with clients to understand their challenges and IT issues
*Recommending business propositions for the adoption solutions from the core portfolio, including IT equipment and service packages (with a particular focus on communications and telephony)
*Conducting sales visits and presentations to pitch business propositions to clients
*Working with the Account Management team to scope client opportunities and deliver any required demonstrations to highlight product benefits
*Negotiating sales, package discounts, and long-term contracts with clients
*Regularly meeting with clients post sales to maintain valuable relationships
*Keeping up to date with sector challenges
*Initiating the development of marketing activity to promote solutions
*Maintaining sales activity and pipeline progression within a CRM system and providing regular reporting

Essential experience:

*Educated to degree level ideally in Business, Computer Science or Marketing
*Experience in selling public or private cloud, security, managed services, connectivity and data analytics
*Previous business 'farmer' experience
*Proven experience growing sales organically from existing customers
*Strong sales experience with excellent communication skills
*Ability to work under pressure and meet/exceed targets
*Excellent attention to detail
