Role Title: Business Development Manager
Salary: circa £50,000 plus uncapped commission and benefits

Location: Home-based with flexibility to travel, with access to the M1 corridor

As a Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in identifying new business opportunities and forging strategic partnerships within the warehouse and logistics sector. Your primary objective will be to understand client needs, develop tailored solutions, and drive revenue growth through effective sales strategies.

In this exciting role, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and executing sales strategies to acquire new clients and expand market presence.
  • Conducting thorough market research to identify trends and opportunities within the warehouse and logistics industry.
  • Collaborating with the technical team to craft innovative solutions that address client challenges and deliver measurable value.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including C-level executives and decision-makers
  • Preparing and delivering compelling proposals and presentations that showcase solutions and differentiate the business in the marketplace.
  • Meeting and exceeding sales targets while continuously exploring avenues for revenue expansion.

Candidate requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years proven track record in B2B sales, preferably selling technology solutions into warehouse and logistics.
  • A significant and live network within the warehouse and logistics sector.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse management systems, logistics operations, and supply chain dynamics.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence decision-makers at all levels.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
