Area Sales Manager
UK - NE based
C£60,000 basic with corporate benefits & up to 50% bonus

Our client is a very well-known and respected business to business brand with an enviable reputation for delivering excellent customer service. They are a business with tradition that can be relied upon but in a market where technology is at the forefront of what they do. The Internet Of Things (IOT) in the built environment is evolving rapidly and they are at the core of this market expansion. The business has a high level of engineering competence, significant financial strength and freedom that allows them to compete successfully in a range of markets to include Corporate, SME and Public sectors.

Reporting in to the Regional Leadership, this is an opportunity to transform the sales function to take significant market share and be the dominant and go to provider in the geography. Currently, the business operates a reactive sales approach, however significant growth can be seen through applying a proactive and engaging strategy.

We are looking for an experienced sales leader to build a geographical sector plan, build, lead and coach a sales team through transformation to create a dynamic, structured and successful sales function. Ideally you will have lead a successful sales team in a B2B environment, ideally in the service industry and a track record of developing and growing a range of markets, increasing revenue and profit. You will be customer engaged but commercially focused, intuitive but structured with a demonstrable success rate both in creating a sales strategy and leading others to success.
